The Caribbean (West Indies) is a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea.
These islands form an arc of 3500 km, southward from Florida to the Northwest
of Venezuela. 35 million inhabitants live in these islands.
Greater Antilles include four islands: Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.
Lesser Antilles include the islands which extend in arc of circle from the Virgin Islands in the East of Puerto Rico to Grenade in the South. This alignment continues then towards the West.
